PG Workshop – What examiners’ look for when examining your thesis – 11th Sept. 2018

50 Masters and Doctoral students, at all stages of the thesis process, attended the workshop  

This workshop looked at the product of the thesis from the examiners’ perspective. The importance of coherence across research problem, design, methods and outcomes was emphasised. Key questions which examiners’ ask when reading through section of the thesis (introduction, literature review, problem framing, methodology, findings/results, discussion and conclusion), were discussed.
